He looked back at the woman only to find the reddish black splotch had grown to fill her whole stomach and a large bump was coming forth from it. Within seconds the bulge burst revealing a blood splatter infant.
“My- my son?” The man was on the brink of tears. “Could it really be you? You were lost. But- but now you’re here.
The child let of a shriek that sent chills down the old mans back. Its yells were like that of a horrible demon squealing out in pain. And then it and the woman fell to the ground causing a pool of blood to seep out from them.
“You couldn’t just die like every one else could you?” Came a raspy voice, though some how the man could not help remembering it.
“What are you talking about? And why are you here brother? You shouldn’t be here…you shouldn’t be alive! I k-killed you! Yeah that’s right I killed you!”
“Yeah ya did. Ya killed me good. But I’m back, it sucks I know, get over it.”
“You…YOU KILLED MY WIFE! HOW CAN I GET OVER IT! MY LIFE IS HELL BECAUSE OF YOU!”
“Yeah and you killed me for it, you had your revenge, the bad man’s dead. But it wasn’t enough was it? No you couldn’t live with what you did? So I guess I won then huh?
“I could kill you again? J-just show your self! Get out here!”
The voice appeared, body and all. His face was scarred and charred, one eye even closed from the burns he suffered. There was a large gash on the top of his head and he was missing most of his skin.
The old man lunged at him. Throwing fist as he blinked away tears, but when his punches met his target the just kept going, passing through causing him to stagger and roll.
The old man pounded his fists on the floor.
“Please tell me what’s going on?” He couldn’t stop crying at this point. “Why is this happening?”
“Yeah you were never one for the intellect were you bro?” The scarred young man said, coldly. “Any way I’m dead! I can’t get much more dead than that!”
“Shut up! Just go please!”
“No I’m afraid I came to bring you something. A gift of sorts” The man seemed to grin, though it was hard to tell, his lips had been burnt off and all that was left were slits separating teeth and gum from skin.
“What is it? Wait no I don’t want it!”
“I’m sorry but that’s not really an option. I have to give you it” “Fine whatever, give me what ever it is, and then will you please just go!”
“Oh so touchy, this is the way you treat your own brother?”
“We’re not brothers! Not any more. You’re dead and I just don’t care any more. So just give me what you came to give and leave.”
The undead brother gave a smirk; he was done playing head games with his former sibling. He reached into his pocket and unraveled a large rope. At the end it revealed to be not a rope but a noose instead. He looked into the old man’s eyes, there was a distinct look of puzzlement.
“I don’t understand.” Muttered the old man, his voice barely over a whisper.
“Please don’t fool yourself. We both know you know what this is for.
“But I-I can’t! I don’t want to.”
“You will! You’re life has been too long! It’s time and you know it.”
The old man slowly let go of the noose, his hands trembling as each finger relinquished their grasp.
The noose floated in mid air, bobbing up and down, before gently moving towards the bed. It rested in the center, glowing a magnificent gold.
The old man looked at it, considered it for a second and then walked forward towards it, almost drawn to it by some unseen force. The man stepped on the bed and examined the rope. It was a mystery, it was the mystery. All other moments, facts, and questions, all of them paled in comparison to this.
“I’m scared” The old man said, lost to everything but the noose floating in front of him.
“We all were.”
The old man stifled back a whimper as he slowly put his heard around the noose; it seemed to loosen to fit him comfortably. As he lifted his head to meet his dead brother eye to eye the rope snapped up leaving a stiff and very much dead old man.
The rope seemed to glow a vibrant gold before disappearing into the air, letting loose the body it once held to fall aimlessly onto the bed.
With a mighty sigh of relief the undead man made a sweep of his hands causing all the damaged clocks to disappear from the dank room that once sheltered them.
“Humans as such frail creatures” the man said, all the while is skin began to crack and shatter.
He snapped his fingers and with a dark burst of light his body crumpled into little bits of nothing that littered the floor. All that remained was a cloak like shadow floating in the air.
It shifted its form in a way that could only be described as a smirk.
“These humans have such twisted imaginations.” The shadow said, looking down on the dead body. “You simply toy around with their past and they jump at the chance to die.”
With that the shadow faded away leaving the dank room empty of any trace of incident, side from the old man who one could mistake for sleeping had they not known that he met his demise earlier.
The old man finally escaped his room and found the rest he wanted more than anything else, though not in a way he imagined.
The End

thanks that means a lot. I'm thinking of doing a whole set of stories about extravagant death. I'm not exactly sure about it tho.

The ending was pretty darn good actually, it makes up for every oddity and scary moment endured with the old man.
