Okay, A. I'll do this when I get back from my friend's house. ^^
“I’m sorry for the ridiculousness of my response, sir,” you offer, hoping he doesn’t explode again. Thankfully, some of the color drains from Lieutenant Gresh’s face. “I think we should give the Gwellets another chance. Let’s side with them.”
Gresh looks at you, then quickly tilts his head down towards the desk again. “Very well,” he murmurs, just loud enough for you to hear. He continues in a louder voice, “You may go, Captain, but on one condition.”
“What’s that?” you ask nervously, watching his every move.
With a grin, the lieutenant answers, “You have to get me another one of those cookies. They’re to die for, I swear.”
You nod, grinning yourself. Backing out of the room, you turn into the hallway and enter the room where the cookies had been. Just as you turn the corner, you nearly jump out of your skin. A pale, slimy creature with raggedy green bumps is balancing on a chair, relaxed and asleep. A Gwellet! Even worse, the once-towering plate of cookies is now nothing more than a meager pile of crumbs.
What do you do?
A: Rush back immediately with the empty plate to the lieutenant’s office, asking him what he’s going to do about it. B: Remain in the room. These things are rather amusing to watch sleep, anyway… C: Wake the thing up and ask why it ate all of the cookies, or better yet, why it’s even there.
