Some assasins prefer to kill their marks with their bare hands.

Knights of the White Stallion aren't assassins though

That's good, fake assassins replaced by real ones. I said. Another of the 'children' approached "We are not here for you." He replied. "Indeed, we checked up on the story you fed us, it checks out." Good to know, so what now? "Sithis excepts lives in return for lives, and many have died, your debt is paid Nord."
With that they dissapeared, that damn Invisible spell they always use, all that could be heard was the scoarching fire and the stomp of footsteps on the grass. I turned my back on them, walking deeper into the forest, my shattered bones and aching muscles begging for rest. I couldn't rest at Fisherman's Rock, the guard would be here soon.
An hour later I find myself at some camp in the woods, it's bandit inhabitants killed by an unknown warrior, the bonfire still hot, I throw one of the bodies aside and lie down on the bed in the tents, I can never go back to the civilised world. In the morning I'll hop the border and dissapear in the swamps of Black Marsh, make my way to Morrowind, set things straight.
I relax and close my eyes, everything is finally silent. It all goes dark, and if I'm lucky I'll wake up.
END

Nice!! Good to see you again! I was afraid you weren't coming back. Liked the story, sounds like sequel material. Hope you don't disappear again, we need more stories!!

It was a short "prequel" but it was good.
