We have 88 members to this forum, but only a handful are active returning members. Most just join, and vanish.
Some think its time to clean out the Members section.
As it is now it has its good points and bad points. It looks good, because it appears we have alot of members, or shows that we did at one point in time.
But it looks bad when only a few members are active. perhaps would look better if we had fewer members but they were loyal and frequented the site.
So vote what you think is best, and feel free to speak your mind here on the issue.

No.
Why would you want to? To clean the site? Deleting members I think is cleaning anything. You want the member count to go down or something? I just think it's a really bad idea. People look at that count, and if it's high they say, 'Oh, there are a lot of members, I might joj'. That's what happened to me at PBS. I don't see any positives to it.

If they see eighty members but only three people posting then they'll think "Oh they must've hated the site and left"

It just doesn't make sense to me. It's like erasing what we wanted, members.

If so they are to stupid to even know how to activate their accounts...and as such we dont want them

They may think that they don't have to activate their accounts. We need them, because it's the members that give us our repuation. A lot of members = More members joining.

No ourreputation is based off of what the few members we have say about us

Anyone who's serious about writing will join regardless of how many members we have.

*sigh* You can persuade me as much as you want, I am steadfast with my position.

Those who will stick around will look more at the community itself, if they think the community is a good one, they'll stay. Those who think we just want members will join and then leave. It looks better, overall, to have a small and fairly active community, as it means each member is on more often, and has some sort of genuine care for the site. A large community with the same amount of posts would look less active, and show a more laid back, impassionate member-base.

I reckon that anyone with an activated account and less than 10 posts should be deleted.
People like Valgaera shouldn't as they did frequent at one point.

I voted for the second choice. What good are members if they join, but never make a single post? Most of those people probably thought "Oh this looks cool." and decided to join. Then they logged off with an intent to return, but they just forgot about doing so. I also think that the many accounts created by people like Shiito should be deleted because he won't be coming back. Unless that has already been done. I don't know because I haven't looked at the member page in a long time.
A high member count with only 3-6 people on at a time doesn't sound to good. If we lower the member count by deleting unused accounts and hardly used ones people will think of us as a union of storywriters and gamers instead of some lame writing group.

I don't think we should delete the recently made accounts.
