'Tis quite the shame to see the state of affairs of this site after so long...
It is amazing how things change. I did not think the site would ever be so silent, its halls lacking vibrance... life. I miss this place on occasion. I know certainly I should still be posting had I not left. The site may have beat a few more breaths.
Alas.
I wish I could have been amongst you, the last striders of this fair plain. Now ghosts alone haunt it, I see. No one seems to bother, save for that nightmare who once plagued us so.
My apologies.
I wish you all well, though all ye may never see this.

I don't think any online social experience will match that which the OSWG gave me, ever (very cheesy I know, but I mean it). Certainly one of the greatest collection of members resided here once. I miss it as well.
You had a just reason to leave us, though I was sad to see you go. You were certainly part of the lifeblood of the guild at the time of your departure. You don't have any reason to apologize. You may think you were disliked by some members (and maybe you were, at some point >_> ) but none can deny how significant a member you were.
My respects to the OSWG.

All that remains misses those that once stood here.

I agree with Dagoth on this one, OSWG really did define who I am now. It's strange to look back and see really how much it did change me, seems kind of cheesy, as he said, but damn.

Thinking back I now see had I not been a part of this place I would never had realized my love for reading; this site had fueled that love and when it ceased to do so I simply abandoned and found a new source, though it saddens me to say.
