Animal is my own story and it's not finished but here is some of it.
Animal
Chapter One: The Start.
"Get him ready." A sharp voice rang out, echoing through the silver corridors. The voices owner stood with several other men, all of them were in black uniforms with a large badge on the front of their coats. "Yes sir!" Replied a young male, his deep blue eyes gazed out from beneath dirty blonde hair. He left for a moment and returned with a large gurney. On the gurney lay another male, this one was in deep sleep thanks to the sedatives that swam around his system. His right hand twiched slightly before lying still once more.
"Good. Now to inject more wolf DNA. He is not changing from the small dose we gave him." The leader wore a feral grin on his unshaven face, dark brown eyes bored into the victim on the gurney.
The young male grabbed a long and sharp silver needle with a clear liquid. A quick movement and the wolf DNA was now inside of the victims body. It took effect almost immediately.
Green eyes snapped open, a slow growl escaped the victims throat. White fur started to line his body just as a white wolfish muzzle grew from his face. Hands twisted into large white paws and the victim stood on all fours on the gurney. Now that he was fully changed, several blue streaks appeared throughout the wolf's body, shining brightly under the dim, light. The wolf howled, showing white fangs before snapping his jaw closed and jumping down to the floor. The last thing the wolf saw was all the men that piled around him before he was injected with more sedatives.
"Subject Les is fully able to change. Mission complete. Check the other three. See if they are alive."
Alone in a dark cell with only a bed for comfort, a young female sat her clothing consisting of black boots, skirt and her shirt bared one of her favourite bands: Tool. Her dark hair covered her face, her pale hands scratched at the concrete floor. Her hazely-green-more-grey-than-anything coloured eyes were crazed. Since being locked up alone with no one but those men made her angry. She hated being locked up and what was worse, was that she did not know if Les was alive. This killed her inside. They took away her love and they should be punished! As she got more angered, her own body started to slowly change. Her ears turned bloodred and slid to the top of her head, bloodred spike pieces grew on her back, starting from her spine and ending just above her stomach. Hands and feet also changed in colour to become bloodred and her tail as well. A simple mark appeared under her left eye and a bigger version on her left back leg. Her body moved forwards so she could stand on all fours just as her skin turned white with silky fur.
Her nails clacked on the concrete and she ran towards the cell wall and poured all her strength into the attack and it paid off. The wall crumbled under her intense strength, her wolf body now sliping through the hole and out towards freedom when a sudden alarm went off. Come catch me now. The female thought. This wolf known as Tamsyn is alot more powerful now.
Obsidian fur rippled in the dank cell room, her red right front paw and left back paw shone dangerously under the dim light. Emerald green eyes looked around slowly, teeth shown in a deadly, non-sounding growl. Her ears twitched as she heard the sound of a gun and her body sailed through the air, the bullet missing her by inches and smashing into the wall. Dust flew back, settling onto the wolf's back, tail and back legs. "Don't miss her!" A soldier warned his partner. "Kirsten is dangerous."
"I know." Came his partners snappy reply. He turned back towards the wolf named Kirsten but she was already gone. "We lost her."
Kirsten ran down the halls, her paws slapping on the cold, metalic surface, her nose telling her that the other three needed help. One was unconcious, one was trying to escape and one was bleeding from a chest wound. Her body slipped around the corner, her feet carrying her towards the wounded one and with a jolt, one that made her freeze, she knew who it was.
Her best friend Toby was locked in a deadly battle, the mans arm that was in Tobys strong jaws, was bleeding hard but the man had done damage to Toby as well. His black fur was in clumps because of the crimson fluid that poured from his chest due to a knife wound.
Kirsten growled loudly, her body in motion again and she ran towards the guy, her own jaws latching onto his neck and she pulled him down in one twist of her neck. Toby let go and changed back to his human form, shaggy black hair covered his dark eyes. He staggered back but the wound in his chest was healing. Soon all that was left was a pure white scar.
The man in Kirstens jaws cried out in pain before she shook her head once, hearing the faint snap that was his neck. He lay limp in her teeth and she let go, eyes upon Toby. He nodded and she knew what he meant. Find the other two.
As Kirsten ran again, Tamsyn was on her way towards Les's cell. Five men, all in black, chased her with pistols in their hands. If wolves could smile, Tamsyn would have one on her face. They could not catch her. She had heard that Kirsten had run and she had to be lured into a trap before they could get her. The men were slow and her small frame was more agile in the small corridors. Her muscles started to ache from the crashing through the wall and her constant running. But she did not slow down. She would never.
She got closer to the cell Les was in and just as she saw the door, it flew open and a large white wolf with blue streaks stood in the doorframe. His green eyes looked over and for a single second, they both felt connected to each other. He leaped towards the men behind Tamsyn and they fell to the floor in a pile. One guy had broken bones and the others felt the strain of having a wolf on top of them. Les looked down and lifted his paw but was distracted because Tamsyn and padded over to him and nuzzled her head deeply into his chest, her body close to his and tears slipped from her eyes. Les was alive and they both needed each others comfort right then.
And then their moment of love was over and they both took off towards the exit. At last they were free. But would the other two make it?
Kirsten felt within her heart that Tamsyn and Les were ok. So instead of contuing on, she turned back and found Toby in his panther form again. His yellow eyes saw her and together they were off. Soon they were free again. But this freedom they would have to fight to keep it.
Chapter Two: Back Into Humanity
Tamsyn lead Les back towards the forest. How many times was she brought out here to see freedom but then pushed back into her small cage? Too many to count. But she knew that there would be a time to escape. She just had to wait and here she was, running for her life, freedom was finally in her reach.
She was behind Les, who powered forward and started clearing the path for Tamsyn.
The further they got away from their prison, they heard the sounds of humanity. Tamsyn quickly changed into her human form and looked around. Sure enough, through the clearing in front of them, they saw cars of every size, colour and model rush past looking like a multi-coloured blur.
Les pushed forth, his white fur tugging at the loose branches in the bushes before he emerged, only to jump back as a car came to close. He also changed form and shook his head. "Dangerous drivers." His voice was croaky and it was apparent that he had not spoken for days, perhaps even months.
Tamsyn looked at him before resting her head on his shoulder. They had changed, all of them. And who could blame them? They had been trapped for three years, they bodies going through tremendous changes and their minds being emotionally drained from being trapped and constantly watched. "It's scary." Tamsyn began, her voice soft and low. "To think we were gone for so long."
Les nodded. "Yeah." Was all he managed to choke out, his arm moving around to hold Tamsyn in a one armed hug.
"Where do we go from here?" Tamsyn asked, looking around again and with a jolt in her stomach, she realised that going back to humanity would be alot harder than leaving it.
