OPERATION: OBSIDIAN TOWER - STATUS REPORT
City Alpha has fallen due to an unknown occurrence that has caused the dead to raise back up and kill the living. David Copperton gave this famous line from his last defense near Station One, just 400 feet from the outskirts of City Alpha. "I'd prefer one thousand enemy soldiers with sniper rifles, then one hundred zombified monsters."
Station One - Compromised. No surviving faculty.
Station Two - First to report undead assault on Stations. Was attacked via underground tunnel. No surviving faculty.
Station Three - First to notice intelligence in the undead movements. Last of the original three bunkers that were created. No surviving faculty.
Station #4 - First true defense against the undead. Was lead, with large amounts of success, by Father Troy, local church leader from the Christian Alliance. Father Troy was given the Medal of Honor when his body was taken back to Station Gamma. Surviving Faculty - 24, Evacuated.
Station 5 through 16 - Little known. Lost communications. These bases were destroyed while communications were down.
Station - 17 When communications came back this was already demolished. Except for the Planet Scouts. Surviving Faculty - 3, Active.
Station 18 - Compromised. No surviving faculty.
Station 19 - Was attacked, but was able to push the undead back. Found out that bites did not cause any odd effects, beyond the fact that it will become infected without treatment. Surviving faculty - 50, Active.
Station 20 - Only Station that is still fully Active. No hurt or dead faculty. NOTE: Soldiers here all deserve medals.
A zombie growled at the large metal door the stopped it from getting to... It glanced up at the top of the door. Station 18 it said. The zombie knew that it's brethren were somewhere along the road outside this annoying hunk of metal. It turned at the sound of something metallic scraping against the ground. Nothing was there. It knew it's mind wasn't what it used to be and decided to ignore it. After all, nothing was more important then the next meal, nothing ever would be in it's mind. The sound came again and was once again ignored. The third sound didn't sound like the first two. It sounded like something that it had heard before.... Something from the First Day. He had made the sound. The sound of a plastic something hitting the ground. It turned swiftly to confront this odd occurrence, only to have it's chest blown open. As it lay dieing for the last time, it saw the front of the shotgun that had killed him. The plastic shell that it had spat out before unloading it's messengers of death lay near his head. He remembered it all now. Life in all it's glory. His parents, wife, son and daughter. He was a man from the Earth Army, and at last he was free from his torment.
