I have given so much time to this site. I have read stories, wrote stories, helped on the council. Is it unfair that I want something in return?
Is it unfair for me to be greedy when others have been lazy? I've always wanted more readers. Everything I've done since I joined the site has been to get more readers. Did that ever pan out? No, of course not. I am to unlucky, and perhaps too selfish.
So, for what reason can I stay? I have worked hard, and gotten nothing in return... well, I did get to help some people, and that was all fun and good. However, I wanted advice, I wanted someone to help me get better. Death did, for a time, but then I was left to myself. I was left to learn from impersonal other and myself how to be better. Perhaps I did get better... I hope so.
So, this is a farewell. I trust the council to find an apt replacement, though I would wholly suggest Grey for the position. He is a dependable member, even if he isn't on the most.
And now, I trust my stories to be deleted, my account banned...

Get over yourself. If you reallyloved the site and wanted to write then you'd do iyt instead of all the complaining about how others have ruined your life. You could have helped. You could have done something. At the least, you could have at least went recruiting for people you know will write. But intead, you make up some melodramatic bull shit about how it's all our fault that you're leaving and that we should clean up after you. And you blame people like me for this sites lack of writing? Well, guess what: it was like this before I ever started posting. No, it's people like you who destroy everything they touch. So go, lie down and die. I wont miss you if this is all you amount to be.

Oh... this is what that thing in the shout box was about... Mr. Bubbles... I must say that I am disappointed in you. I know that you probably don't care... but I am It isn't his fault, it is ours... We (the members like me) don't really post... and it takes us a long time to finish a story... He was doing a very good job with the site. *sigh* I actually appreciated the grammatical help he gave me, even through one measly part of my story I have managed to learn a lot about writing. And it is very difficult to recruit people to sites... most people either just aren't interested or have too many prior obligations... and a site of this size is intimidating, I have posted more today than I believe I have almost in total for the rest of the time that I have spent here. Uesugi... The reason I don't help people much is because I see most of the members here as superior writers when compared to me... I may see a few errors in some things, but I don't do anything about it because how would it look if I tried to critique something on someone else's forum and I was wrong even if I did tell them that I was probably wrong to start? I have belonged to many sites... and when I do something like that (even if I turn out to be right) people get mad at me.. I guess that may be how you feel. I suppose you wont see this will you? I feel horrible... I feel like it is my fault that you have left... you helped me so much... and I did nothing for you... Maybe I am too hard on myself... but... I'm sorry.

No, it is his fault that he left. I refuse to take responsibility for the actions of others. What they do and why has nothing to do with me even if I was the one who tried to get them to do it. It is solely their responsibility. If we don't post anymore, and we don't, then we are responsible for it and, if we really want to belong to the site, change if we can. Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe it is our fault that he gave up. He is right that we don't do anything, whatever his reasons for saying it. This is a perfect example of what will happen if we don't change, and now. I'm sorry if you're disappointed with me, but I can't change what I feel is right so easily.

To be honest I don't really blame you. This sight has gone done hill fast and I am not helping... Half the original council is gone or not very active, only and select few of the original member stay, and only a few new members stay active even a little. I am still hoping for some sort of revival but it isn't going to happen.

I don't see how the administrator can 'hope' for a revival... and doubt that will happen. Loki, this site can be saved, but we can't expect it to do everything itself. Lack of posts and members is least of thes sites problems.

How did Uesugi not help this site? He was really the driving force behind the team of Admins, and I do believe it was his idea to restart the Arena (A task that will be much harder without him.) He was the one who restarted the news letter, and we were planning several diffrent things which would hopefully revive the site and its interest in writing.
He was also one of the only ones who actually read and commented on every piece of work, even though his own stories went ignored. How can you say that he didn't help? Are you really that blind?

If not for Uesugi, the OSWG wouldn't be around for the last two months.
