*Yet to be titled so I'll just stick with Twisted for now*
"Remember my fair angel, remember."
Raven woke up suddenly and sat upright in her bed. She was sweating yet it was cold inside her room. Why do I keep having these weird dreams, Raven thought uneasily. She had been having strange dreams for a while now and the only thing she could remember were those five chilling words, Remember my fair angel, remember. Those words that always sent a chill down her spine as she was roused her from her sleep every night. She looked at the window to find that it was open. A light breeze stirred the curtains moving them slightly but enough to reveal the moon shining brightly in company with the stars. Raven looked at the time. It was 3:33 a.m. Since her dreams started, she would always wake up at this time. I have to go back to sleep, she thought, they're nothing more than stupid dreams. She lay in her bed motionless, trying to remove those words from her memory. She thought of other things school, her friends, her mom but they all lead back to those same five words. She drifted off to sleep though, those five words now etched in her mind.
Raven wasn’t short but wasn’t tall either. I guess you can say she was average height for her age, which was 17. She had jet-black hair that went a little below her shoulders. She had light brown eyes with a tinge of green in them. People would always sense there was something different about her; she had a certain kind of power that would make people want to listen to her. Usually no one opposed her, for people knew most of the time she was right. However, she wasn’t “I told you I was right” or bragging annoying “I was right” kind of person. People could always rely on her. She was kind and understanding of others, for most of the time at least.
She woke up in the morning to find that she had overslept. She changed quickly and headed out the door.
Raven arrived at her class and barely made before the bell rang. She was grateful for that, because she had too many tardies already. And she could not stand another detention with Mr. Hicks. She sat next to one of her best friends named Aries. Aries was a tall boy with light brown hair and blue eyes. He had a look of power in his face, someone you did not want to mess with. People often looked at Aries with fear even though he didn’t do anything to them. He gave a distinct aura to those around. He like Raven could make almost anyone listen to him. He was funny but real lazy.
Today in class, they had a substitute teacher. Both Aries and Raven smiled when they found this out. They had a reputation with substitutes. Both of them had always loved to torture substitute teachers, they love to drive them crazy mostly with annoyance. One time they actually had caused a substitute teacher to quit. The class looked at Raven and Aries, like a ticking time bomb just waiting for that certain moment. The two were quietly scheming up something in their heads.
