Writers Forward: My mom once again brought her homework to me so that I could do/finish it for her. I should be getting my collge grade, but sadly I get only my dinner...which was actually pretty good.
Anyway it was her math teacher who asked her to write a Haiku about the International System of Measurement, which is used everywhere but America. This is also known as the metric system, and with a firm vision of an idiotic college math teacher I set to work.
International, Outside America used Our system beloved.
I hope I didn't miscount the syllables

Beloved is two unless you type (write) it as belovéd. Otherwise his second line would've been eight. And me, it was very entertainign. Nice to see a comedic bit here. But it is a bit scary that that is a college level assignment...

The metric system isn't actually all that great. Like try measuring something with the metric system. You'll be like "**** this shit I'm goin back to inches"

Actually I'm pretty good at metrics... its more accurate and that means less decimal points are involved. Plus the conversion charts are easier to remember. All you have to do is multiply by ten or one hundred. While with the American system you have to memorize "Multiply by 3.5 to get blah" and so on.
Plus her teachers a nut for metrics apparently...
