(a little poem about 5th grade, you know, where you write ok, we had to do poems ) Poems: Poems are like a fly, which you have to swat, the paper is the fly, and your pen is the swatter. They are quite boring to do, I dont know why, But seriously, do I have to write? I would rather be writing about warriors and spies, but who knows, maybe I like to swat flies. (yes, this was made in 5th grade)

Eh... ok. Not the best I've seen, but not bad for a 5th grader. Really short, some weak words too.

Are you kidding? I'd rather hear a poem with short simple words like this then one heavily laden with improperly used words and assumed meanings. People can get so full of themselves when writing poetry, myself included.

I like developed poetry, and often times that is a long one.

I like developed poetry too, but any poem I have to get the dictionary out for is not enjoyable at all for me.
I thought this poem was funny.

Maybe it's just me. Sometimes people think too much of their work and it ends up labored and long-winded.
But not in this case.

Most of my favorites are short poems. They are easy to remember and stick with you.

Same with me. Of course, there are a few exceptions.
