Yes, yes, it's very short- as my poems often are. The Sidreal Aspirant
In dreams, waiting, all the same Inspiration never came. Could my subconscious be so tame? Propped up upon an idle frame?
This and that, all things mundane. What keeps you whole, what keeps you sane. Was it all for not, or all in vain? Though fertile as a field of grain?
But that great tower may yet fall. Though the mockery, it stands so tall. A megalithic ebon hall. Progress at a mighty crawl.
But if and when, and should, it will The dam will burst and from forth it spill Euphoric and Ecstatic thrill And no longer will I wax on ill.

This type of poetry is refreshing... both to one's mind and soul.
And "up upon" is redundant.

By that I meant "upright" and "on top of".
Thank you both, regardless.

Another masterpiece by one of our great poets of our time. Good work my friend. As if you could do less than perfect.

Aw, c'mon that's a bit much. I'm very much appreciative, don't get me wrong- but how do I respond to that?

Blood is right Grey, if someone asked my of my three favorite poets of all time. You'd be on the list. I wish I could do poetry like that.

Well, I don't have much advice to offer, but to show the I read this poem (and a great poem indeed) I will post this.
Me was right, the rhyming was awesome.
