Larn makes his way to the nicer section of town only remembering the man’s name, Wolf. Wondering how he has amassed enough of a fortune to buy a home in this section of town, he rests his gaze on a obsidian block mansion. Pushing the doors open with a creek, a short Bosmer butler looking at Larn warily, the naked silver blade gleaming in the candlelight, gripped tightly in Larn’s gloved hand. “What do you need sir…” The butler says hoarsely, an oddly deep voice for a man of his stature.
Staring at him with narrowed eyes Larn says bitterly “I’m looking for Wolf.” And sits down on a crude wood bench. Leaving the room, the butler shakes his head; sad with the filth his master has been associating with of the late.
“Sir,” the butler says, opening the door to a fine study, an ornate rug from summerset lying on the floor, a fine wooden desk from Valenwood across the room from a crystal fireplace, the pieces forged in Skyrim.
“Yes,” Wolf looks up quickly from his scrolls, his Orc bone quill poised over the Orsimer skull he uses to store the very creature he hates blood, his favorite writing ink. Wolf’s gray eyes flash in annoyance as he addresses his butler again. “You know not to disturb me without due reason… Don’t you?” Wolf mentions staring at the scar running down his menservants face.
“Yes but sir… He had a sword and something about him demands your attention.” The butler stutters, sweat dripping down his tanned face.
“Fine, but if not, this time your head will be just like theirs.” Wolf growls, pointing down at his ink-pool, only a slight bit of green flesh still managed to stay connected to the ivory bone. Pushing the doors open, his ebony cape flutters behind him, his dark leather clothes shining in the candle light of the entry way. “So, why are you here boy.” Wolf says softly, sitting in an ornately carved throne across of the bench.
“My family was killed by Orcs, as their father all I want is revenge.” Larn says bluntly, the silver sword resting on his lap. “Illian, a guard, told me of you and I want to know three things. Why you want Orcs dead. Where can I find the bastard that killed my children? And finally, how can I help you kill these beasts.”
Wolf stares at him, smiling slightly, the light casting odd shadows on his throne. “Well, my entire family was slaughtered. All of their heads set upon pikes. The only reason that I survived was because I hid in the cellar, to frightened to move.” His grip tightens on the ornate wooden throne, the wood snapping under his grip. Annoyed he tosses it to the side and continues speaking. “I learned who they were when I went to Ornisium, trying to track them. Do you know that killing a family here is how they become an adult in their culture. You see my friend; their entire race is at fault not just a few. We must make them pay!” Wolf yells impassioned. “I happen to know that the Orc that killed your family is in Bruma, preparing for his journey back to his vile land. I was about to personally head there to deliver this scroll. But you can avenge your family and take my scroll. Take it to the house here, it’s a small shack, but he is a master weapons forger, the best Mundus has ever seen. But he loves the quiet life, so keeps it a secret. If you kill this Orc, return in 3 Sundas’ and you will join my fight in killing this race.” Wolf says handing over the scroll to Larn. Standing Larn bows, only saying yes with a nod of a head. Pushing open the door slowly, he steps off into the brisk night, the moon already full.
