Wow that all kinds of sucks. They act like they aren't really sure if it will happen with the 360. I know I have over 150 to 200 hours on the character I used through SI and I didn't have a problem. Unless thats that many hours after the download, but thats not what they said, for they said it would be ok to create a new character for it wouldn't effect your others time played.
I beat the SI, but I have a few side quests to tie up and a few from the main game still. I think I'll hold off for a bit till I hear more, because if my game save is corrupted I will be pissed beyond pissed.
Thanks for the heads up on this one Loki!

It happens after you download SI. I am just going to wait for a patch to come out and hopefully it will come out quick.

I would think that Beth would have encountered this in play-testing...

It only occurs after 80+ hours of gameplay on a single character. More than likely they wouldn't have taken 80 to test the game through with a single character(THey most likely had different characters).

I must be strange then -_- Seems perfectly natural to test things over a duration... And the problem is noticable early on. If they tested on a PC, they could've caught it. I'm also guessing it is the cause of the mass slow-down I experienced when first playing Si...
But, ah well, I feel sorry for the 360 players who've no immediate fix.

Beth could probably release a pre-patch addressing just that problem by tomorrow... Not like it is that hard to fix. Just a few botched scripts (man, that makes two now, doesn't it?).

In order to get the patch on Xbox live Marketplace they need to go through some sort of verification process which can take awhile.

I never had any problems with the Shivering Isles. I actually was expecting alot of bugs, since I downloaded it the day it was released. Does it say which AI characters are causing the problem? I'm just curious. I'm to worried to play through the game now. Its hard to believe I've still never finished the fighters guild and Mages guild quests. Now I fear I may never complete them.

The NPCs are the Golden Saints you need to sneack past in the Duke of Mania quest.

Yeah, try losing your oblivion progress 3 times. About 400 hours in all. All lost.

Ouch dagoth that sucks. I'd probably throw my 360 thru a window if my Oblivion save was corrupted.. I'd regret it later... maybe.
I wonder what was weird in the script for the golden saints. I had no problem sneaking past the saints. I am a stealth character. Raiment of the Crimson Star byiatches!!

They are constanly scripted to patrol even when you are not in the area and something about that caused the FormIDs to be eaten up extremely fast.
