If they don't, I will. FYI, none of the insults are directed at you, Abbadon. They are directed at the author of the web page. The first one was pointless. Who really cares? Paolini forgot to have his pants torn. Oh Noes! The Second one didn't make sense. Maybe you forgot that 1+1=2. Eragons+Saphira's strength=enough to close wings Third one: Did it ever say that he was hunting for breakfast? He was probably out stocking up for the winter. He passes out coins to buy trinkets becuase it was some kind of festival. They probably have some source of income, maybe they sell their food from the farm. Fourth One: Just stupid. Paolini was using that to characterize the man who owned the shop. Fifth One: Galloping is not sprinting for a horse. It is more of a jog. and besides, horses have more endurance than humans. Sixth one: perhaps he forgot that Eragon, as he trained with Brom (a master swordsman himself) he got stronger. Also, when he became an elf (sorta) he became stronger too. Seventh One. WTF??? you are coming up with all of these things that don't matter. They have nothing to do with the story line. And besides, maybe she got it from a dead animal. dumb ass. Eighth one: again, more stuff that has nothing to do with the storyline. Nobody ****ing cares. Ninth one: Maybe you forgot that magic sapped energy. She specifically said that she had barely enough magic to transport the egg away from where she was. All of them together: They don't matter. This person is just looking for a way to put him down. Oh no, She is wearing leather! It doens't matter at all. I didn't notice any of these things when i was reading. I'm guessing this person was reading to criticize rather than for a fun time.

Ha, i don't even care anymore. Half of the people who criticize this awesome book have not actually read it. I just laught at these now. raist, i agree with every word you said, just ignore it. Ha ha ha, have fun TRYING to come up with bad EXCUSES to make AWESOME book look bad.

OK I haven't read this book yet but plan to in the near future and for one thing. My god they are a few simple mistakes get over it. And keep in mind he's like what 15 when he wrote the book. I'm thinking there can be a little a few mistakes at that age. Stop jumping down his throat and just enjoy the book for what it is a good read(I speak from what I've heard)

" ~Raist~ I love how you just use a quote to back your argument. One, Paolini might be in the 'arena' but that doesn't mean we may give him quarter for his mistakes. As an author actually publishing pieces, you're expected to hold consistency and clarity close to heart. The critic is what keeps the author alive. The author is what keeps the critic entertained. Oh, and so what if he was fifteen when he wrote it? Do we give fifteen year olds competing against thirty year olds in the Olympics an advantage just because they're younger?
