Basically it is the idea of transendance. When a human reaches a certain point he can no longer exist on earth and must move on...discuss

The description is a bit vague, and could mean many different things from different points of view, but yes... I believe in something like that.
I believe time repeats itself in a seemingly endless cycle. We will live our lives each time unaware of the times before it. You must live through every possible scenario. You'll be born again each time into the same life only altered to match your past regrets and things you took for granted. For instance.. You may live your life with no money and our poor. You wish you could live comfortably, and wish you could win the lottery, or be famous. But you take for granted the loving family you have.
When you finally die in that life you will be born again. This time with wealth, and the things you longed for. But now you have no family, and are alone. What you once had, will be what you now long for. It will take eternity to find true happiness, to discover your lifes true purpose. Once you succeed you're removed from this existence and are givin a new life, where you will live eternity with all the things you've learned you actually need (not want) to have true happiness.
I believe each time you repeat your life it is often very similar to your last. you may have the same parents, the same brothers and sisters, the same friends. Sometimes it will be completely different. I believe that when one experiences Deja'vu They get a small bit of recollection from one of their previous experiences. Something that was so exact to what they are currently living out, that they feel they've done it already... For they have.
I'm one for theories and odd beliefs, with no real evidence to back it up. Anyway.. thats what I believe. Its basically Karma.

I do not believe that a mortal man can become a god, so therefore I do not believe in apotheosis (assuming we are going with the roman era meaning). However, I do believe in the transcendence of the soul, moving from the mortal body on earth to the immortal body in heaven. But that is a bit different form what you were asking...

Still it is a form of Apotheosis, I was just using that as a generla description. Not necessarily becoming a god, but the whole idea of transendance.
