-How do i make a thread?
A thread, which is made by you, or the user in the first post, allows others to post in it. In the "view thread page" look at the top of the page, for this button:
If loki doesn't mind, i'll be making a Proboards Basic Knowledge FAQ, where new members and new people to proboards can learn of the system. If you would liek to contribute, great, that just takes off of my list. But do not spam or ask questions. After it is completed, it should be stickied and lokced. Thank you.
From there, you can create the subject, and message. YTou can also customize your thread and message with smilies, UBBC codes, and Tags.
- What are UBBC codes?
The UBBC codes are the icons you see at the reply or create new thread screes in the "add tags area". This list should help you:
Note: Keep in mind the UBBC code will take affect once you post. Remember to place your message between the [example] Message Here[/example]
- Alows Bold text; Bold. Place a word between the code for affect.
- Italicises text. italics. To use, place your message between the code.
- Allows text to be undelined. Underlined. To put into affect, place your message in between the code.
- Strike allows a line to appear in your text.Strike. To put into affect, place your message between the code.
- Glow makes your text colored. You can change the color by editing the color it says it will be when you post, and edit the intensity, by making the number smaller, or larger.[glow=red,2,300]Glow[/glow] Place you message in between the code.
- Shade is simple, it does what it says, it puts a colored shadow over the text. [shadow=red,left,300]Shadow[/shadow]You can also edit the colors and the intensity. Place your message in between the code.
Marquee, allows the text to "float" across the message space.
It is also known as "move", or that is what appears once the you post it. Place your message in between the code.
The Preformatted text button will make all text within the code significantly smaller.

The left button UBBC code will place all text with the code to be on the left side of the page when posted.
Place your message inside the code.
The Align text to center button will place all text within the code to appear in the middle of the post, when submitted.
Place message within code.
The align right button will place any text within the code to appear on the right side of the message space once submitted.

Horizontal rule place a series of underscores to form a line above your message.
