I have a few key points in my argument that I belive will turn you to see my view. -puts on profressor glasses-.
"You see, there are 8 towns the 9th being Kvatch, each town to honor a certian divine. Kvatch was built to honor Akatosh, the patron god of the knights of the nine. Mr.Travis I would appreciate it if you stopped passing notes!"
"(muffled) Yessir" from the back of he room with some laughs.
"As I was saying. Kvatch was destroyed because of the Akatosh being there, the holiest of the gods. The opinion was Martin was there which was why it was targeted. What if it was not, what if the reason it was targeted was to prevent the Knights of the Nine, from having a chance to regroup and push back the invaders, saving the empire. Now that they are being rebuilt, where else to rebuild but in the town of their Patron, Akatosh. That Is why I belive that in this expansion, Kvatch will be rebuilt."

Though Kvatch may have it's importance, Bethesda wants money and will release Kvatch Rebuilt in another DCL. And it makes little to no sense for Daedric invaders to worry about some measly worshippers of the Nine, in the place of the heir to the Empire.

They did not know that there was another heir as I stated. It was only known by two people, the Emporer and Jauffree. The knights would have posed a great threat due to the support and countless blessings of the Divines, along with weapons blessed by them, which would have pwned the Daedra. You have a detention.

We're told that it was known only by Jauffre and Uriel only by Jauffre and Uriel. But, then again, I doubt Todd Howard thinks that much. He probably figured no one playing Oblivion would poke through it's lore-ruined depths. And, once more, the Knights of the Nine are likely small in number for one, so they wouldn't have posed a huge threat. And, blessings don't go all that far. The Daedric Princes are invincible in their own Realms, and even on Nirn, they're still immortal, and still nigh invincible. And, because the Towers were essentially innactive after the beginning and until the end of the main quest, the Knights become even less of a threat if you count the fact that Mehrunes' movements within Nirn could've come much sooner (but it ruins the fun if he does that).
And, it also makes more sense for the chapel of your greatest threat to be destroyed, no?

Hmm profossor? I see your point but doesn't the teachings of toasty Mctoast for hands say "Love your enemies and you will get more toast. Destroy your enemies chapel named after them and you will never see toast again." Why would Mehrunes Dagon take the chance to lose all toast? I'm sorry but it doesn't make sense to me.
