Well I'm downloading the new expansion as I type this. It will probably take an hour or two to download. Its over 900mb.
I'll post my impressions of the expansion once I've played it tonight.
Once you all have the expansion we can discuss it here as well.

Well I dove into the new expansion a bit. I gripped my sword and ventured forth. I was in mid mission when I started and decided to tie up a few loose ends at the fighters guild. Slaughtered a few theives in a cave. Then after my promotion for a job well done, I recieved a note about a strange door to the south. My back was tired however, with too much loot to carry on such a quest. I called my trusty horse shadowmere, and took off to Frostspire. Once I unloaded my un-needed gear into the vault, I was ready to discover the secrets behind this strange door... I rode close to Bravil, but not too close, for my bounty would surely attract attention, as I looked off across the river. There in the middle was an Island I'd never seen before. With Bravil closed off, and no boat in sight I had but once choice. I sent Shadowmere to the stables, and dove into the water. Still wishing I'd brought my Ring of Water walking I finally arrived at my destination. Strange plants and foilage decorated this strange Island with an odd looking statue at its center. It was a stone head with three faces. Its mouth open wide and light poured from its center.. beckoning to me.

(skipping important story stuff, to not spoil anything.) After entering the mouth of madness, I made my choice to enter the new dimension. I found myself in a strange world, with giant Mushrooms that towered on all sides. High above the ground I stepped to the edge, and looked down. the world expanded beyond me. This world was big.. much bigger than I was expecting. I check my map, and I realize this is no vacation. With no horse in sight I had a long walk ahead of me. Before I leave I look up at the sky.. Brilliant colors swirling above, as if I'd been swallowed into an entire galaxy itself.

The path was clear, and lined with bricks. lights could be seen fluttering about, as butterflies and other insects took flight. I followed each turn of the curvy road with only my thoughts to accompany me through the silence. Just when I start to enjoy myself, I spot a large unknown Humanid ahead. He resembles an Orc from a distance and is fighting with some smaller beast that I also dont recognize. He makes short work of the creature, and I approach the Man with caution. He turns his back to me, and I lower myself, hiding in the shadows. Just when I'm close enough to speak, the man turns to face me... He.. was no man. He draws a Massive curved blade that resembles a large stone Butcher knife and attacks. A fatal mistake, for I was prepared for this possibility, as my shield easily reflects the blow. In another moment, I've drawn my sword and cut the creature three times across his mid section. He drops onto the ground, and I have not only slain my first beast in this realm, but acquired my first weapon as well. I took a moment to look down on the creature. Oh how I pity'd him...

Well, I read your first two posts, actually. I've yet to get a note though. Still considering making a new character for shivering isles, perhaps.

It was sad to find that it begins with a quest pop-up... Seriously...
My biggest complaint so far is the amount of dungeon-crawling one must do to complete the many fed-ex quests. I've gotten lost multiple times <_< Obelisks are too similar to "Oblivion Gates" (are we going to see ghoul-spawning spires in Fallout 3?). Also some collision issues... Otherwise, I'd say it's better than Oblivion, but that isn't saying much... A rat on a stick is better than Oblivion...
