Ok I have two books....actually considerably more but you get the picture. One I'm currantly reading and one that I'm not. I'm half way done with the one I'm reading but I really really want to read the one Im not reading. I got that one a week or two ago. The problem is that the book I'm reading his taking forever and I'm not sure I like it too much. I want to finish it but its an incredibly slow read. So should I drop it and start reading the other book or continue to read this one?

Unless you don't like it at all keep reading the first one because It can be really hard to start reading a book you already read half way through later on

I would say that you should finish it if you have the time. As has been said above, sometimes books can change your opinions by the end, or even weeks after you've finished reading it. In a moths' time, you may actually say that you're glad you finished it,.
