Yes, try to keep this thread...relatively spoiler free, or put spoiler in the thread title.

You know, after finishing it this morning, I was a tad bit disappointed. She could have stood to put a chapter or two more at the end, I think, instead of ending it so abruptly. And the epilogue could have been longer and much better... And she needs to stop having so many darn comma splices everywhere. A bit predictable at points, too. Either way, I think I still like Sorcerer's Stone the best.

Thats only because Sorcerers stone was when the world seemed fresh and magical. Now its just mundane...still haven't read it though...

Don't get me wrong i enjoy the series. (still haven't finished it, i'm taking my time.) But I must say i don't like the author. She wrote one good series but she never struck me as being one of creativity. Which is essential to any story teller. I will admit its repetitive but with 7 books its not much of a surprise. I blame the author completly. I hate her and to be honest i hope she loses all her money and goes back to being poor.

Well i finished it in one day longer than i would have liked but i feel it was better to take my time a bit. I really did enjoy it and do not agree that it ended abruptly. It had
*SPOILERS....i guess*
heart warming ending. Which is so rare i feel in books today. After reading it i must say i'm sorry to see the series go. The first book got me into reading and its been special. I hope i find another series that can mean as much to me.
