Yeah, I decided to go with the regular edition. I'm not gonna pay $10 for a Big Daddy that might be broken. If I had a job, maybe, but not now. *sigh* I need a job, there're too many games that I want coming out this year.

I got it yesterday. The first boss was kind of disappointing, but telekinesis made up for it. Always check what it is that you're throwing! I threw something at a guy who got too close for comfort and it exploded.

That is why you do the patented ME! Check.
You rate things by shape color and possible damage....as well as fun. Brightly colored objects are usually either explosive or alot of fun to watch zooming at an enemy. Corroded barrels are usually explosive, and therefore also fun.

It wasn't any of those. It didn't look like a giant grenade or anything (it looked like one of those air tanks used for diving and the like). There aren't any ridiculously bright explosives in this game, and it wasn't a barrel or corroded.

You're check works for the cliches, but this game doesn't have that many of them that I could see (though admittedly, I'm only an hour or so into the game).

And Air tanks are automatically placed very high on that list. Seriously, compressed air?

Compressed air = giant fire ball? It probably had something a tad more flammable. And I just chose the normal setting, as I near always do on my first play through in a game.

I heard the normal setting was pretty easy so I went through on hard my first time through and the first boss was pretty fun.

Yes, that stuff can blow with nearly explosive force in real life, an deverything gets magnified in video games. Actually, that deep down they would probably be using an intresting mix that would pretty much negate explosive potential...or they would be using the everpopular "Liquid Air" that originated from The Abyss Great movie actually...
Though those things will burst with explosive force if you could put it under enough stress, and the shrapnel would be more lethal then the actualy fireball....I have yet to see any game actually take shrapnel into account though...

I VOW TO EAT ANY ONE WHO LIKES THIS GAME! This game PWNS other games... even Halo 3. I will be playing Halo 3 much longer but I think Bioshock is one of those games you pull out a few years later and play it again. By that time Halo 3 will be replaced by another Multi-Player Heavy game. Don't get me wrong I will love Halo 3 but BioShock is amazing. Also, I want to say that the Demo sucked compared to the rest of the game.

Compressed air does not a fire ball make. Don't you watch Myth Busters? I'm fairly certain that it doesn't spontaneously combust on impact either. I've never seen The Abyss, so I don't know about that, but I doubt that liquid air does it either. It probably isn't anything real, it just does it because it's cool.
