This is the original post made by DEATH97. Again, not much needed to change.

I noticed that while ppl were getting better RP'ing to their skills, to make up for their lacking hit points or Magicka they were just chugging potions to restore their losses during battles. It occurred to me that this takes from the ranking system, so I have devised a market system to correct this error.
The regular rules of The Arena still apply, and the battle system is still the same, but now you have the option of buying potions, poisons, and Weapons and Armor that are above your ranks required level. Thats right... Now a rich pitdog could wield Daedric weapons and armor, or even obtain scrolls that have spells far powerful then your rank would be allowed.
The Items will be listed in the Arena's Shop called the Dueling Dragons. The price will be listed, as well as how many are in stock. This will work like a real shop. Items could change from day to day, to week to week. Its up to you to check in or you may miss a special item. If the Item is enchanted the stock number will be blue. If the Item is on sale the price will be yellow. If it is a rare Item its name will be red.
Blue= Enchanted
Yellow= Special Sale
Red= Very Rare/Unique
You will use Arena Credit to buy Items. Find the Item you want to buy and post in the shop. Once I've read it I will add the Item to your profile and deduct the amount of Credit you spent on it.
You will now be rewarded 10 Credits for every win in the Arena, and once you've Obtained the Rank of Warrior, each win will be worth 20 Credits.
The Shop is still under construction, so check in frequently to find new Items. And remember if your saving up for an Item that the prices may change sometimes too. There are good and bad things to this new system. Yes now you can buy and use a Silver weapon (If you have the Credit for it) and use it when your a pitdog, but now I will be keeping track of armor damaged in battles and weapons that were shattered.
If your sword was broken, you will need to buy a new one, if you want to have it for your next fight, or pay a blacksmith (its cheaper) to repair it.
THE BLACKSMITH
The Blacksmith will repair your broken Weapons or Armor for a small fee. Just post the weapon or Armor you want repaired on the Blacksmiths thread, and He'll do the rest.
The Blacksmith cannot repair Fur or Leather Armor however, and replacements for this type of Armor must be traded or bought from the Market.
Those who have chosen Armorer as one of their Major skills can fix their Armor and Weapons theirselves after each battle.
THE TRADING ZONE
Here you can trade with other Combatants. Are the potions out of Stock in the Shop, and you have a fight coming up. Find someone who is selling them and quote their offer in your reply. I'll do the rest.
NOTE:These new changes will take place for all new fights, and will not be included in battles that have already started, or in the current pitdog tournament.
