Decent update, just don't turn this into a one trick-pony. And seems like the man ought to be more like Uso and Snake-eyes, if they're programmed.... Hmm... *ponders this*

No Uso and Snake Eyes were slightly insane because of the training/constant taking of life. This guy was programmed...if you get my drift

Interesting. Doesn't seem reasonable for the government to turn so easily though... Unless there is another layer? Ah, well, like it, as always.

The fact is...he's just hiding his emotions, very well I might add. Later on I plan on making him suffer for it though.

And I forgot to say this but Sam said that becase the pain managed to chase the programming out of his mind.

Exactly why he should be saying something more relevant.

Alright... Now for real nitpicky-ness...
Where is the emotion? How does he know what the enemy is doing (turning men into whatever)? Why is he bringing the girl? Why not leave her at a safe place? Why are those hunting them coming so openly? Why wouldn't the police respond? Why wouldn't neighbours respond? Where are her parents?
Me, action is okay to a point, but battles rarely happen in the urban areas. Fantasy can get away with this, and modern general fiction/whatever this is can as well, but only to a point. A school, or other public property is reasonable. Radical groups could easily be blamed. However, it is bad to assume that they will go after a single person. No one would believe that. It would fall to some higher degree.

I still say it is full of more inconsistencies than a pile of sand, and on question 2... We should be shown that, not told it. Perhaps something happened that we didn't notice, or couldn't figure out. Perhaps something new could be revealed. And on the general operation of it: if the police are under the thumb of this organization (as you imply them to be), why wouldn't they have tried to stop him on the road, or elsewhere, or have a multitude of homes surrounded. Just me nitpicking.
