Why, exactly, did you re-write that?

well, i was thinking about it last night and about what you guys had said. and thats how i wanted to finish it off. it was the ending i had in mind from the begining, i actually planned out teh ending before the story itself, and if i had gone with the other one it would have been messy and hard to end it how i wanted.

Hmm... well... You leave a large hole, right now, empty and devoid. We know nothing of what anything was, I don't think. You cut out a key piece of information, information that could have been shaped to fit the ending you planned. Stories are not made of linear paths... you could achieve the same ending going one way or the other. But, it's your story, and if you want that to be the end, so be it. One suggestion I have for you is this: think your story through entirely and totally. Have it planned out before you even think of starting that particular chapter/update. It felt, at times, like you were lost in your story. You can trust me when I say: that isn't a good place to be lost in. So, just think it through, try having everything planned out a bit more, etc. Also, though it is good to have an idea of what you're working up to, that doesn't mean it can't change. By now, I've changed the ending to my current story about ten times or more, I'd say. Wouldn't doubt it if I did again, either.

*smiles* every other time i would agree with you, but it was important to me it end this way. it has a certain meaning for me.
eh heh, yah. i was lost to the story. ill probably change it latter. *grin* the non origonality got to me. its not like my stories to lag on like this. im going back over a story ive already finished, that needs some serious editing. i wrote ti liek three years ago and its longer, but choppy. maybe ill put that up here once i finish revising it, see if you all can help with it. ill get my thoughts together, then go back through this one *smiles* and hey, thanks for all the help

I'm back now!! i had computer issues for week. *cough* the cat gave the computer a virus and it crashed.
I was working on this story on my other computer. am revising and changing it drastically, pretty much. is much better, i think. am probably going to start a new topic and put ti up there since it would be chaotic to put a new same story on the same board. but yay! am back now!
