Gordon felt some of his energy leave his body. He grunted in pain and thanked the gods for being a Breton. He pulled himself up and smiled at his opponent. Two could play the potion game. Gordon thought as he drank his own health potion.
OOC: My posts are short to save energy.

ooc: ah yes saving for the energy crisis...smart man.
Phoenix charged forward as his opponent drained a health potion. He tried to knock the potion out of Gordon's hand before he could finish the it. He failed but managed to plant his shoulder into Gordon's gut. His opponent went flying back, and Phoenix was in hot pursuit. As soon as Gordon landed Phoenix knocked the weapons out of his hands, then dropping his own sword he proceeded to beat Gordon using his fists.
Then he picked up Gordon and threw him into a wall. He had barely missed the spikes coming out of the wall. Phoenix stood ready between his opponent and their weapons. Hand to hand was now the only way to finish this fight.

Gordon knew his opponent was better at hand to hand then he was, but his opponent wasn't as fast as he was. Gordon hated this kind of fighting but..... when you have to you have to. Gordon quickly moved in on Phoenix.

He saw Gordon charging, and he knew what his opponent was trying to do. Instead of meeting his opponent head on he slid forward and swept the legs out from under Gordon. As Gordon flew over him he immediately grabbed his opponents ankle. As Gordon landed he scrambled back over to Gordon and pressed his opponents face into the dirt.
While he had Gordon in the hold he reached around and pulled his forearm across his opponents windpipe. He how to beat an enemy with his fists, or throw them down while grappling.

Gordon couldn't breathe and was getting destprite! So he did the best idea he could think of. He reached back and grabbed his opponent's shoulder, extended his claws, and pulled down towards the elbow.

The claws raked down his arm. Pain flowed flashed into his consciousness. He quickly discharged a blast of lightning directly into Gordon's head. Two spells. He then further punished Gordon by sending his knee into his opponents temple. He then rolled off Gordon, and used a spell of healing. One spell left.
He fought the urge to let the demon run free. Then he saw Gordon scramble onto his feet, and run toward the weapons laying on the ground. Phoenix hurled his final spell. It barely hit Gordon as he ran for the weapons. Then the Paralysis spell immediately stopped his opponents movement.
He sprinted forward toward Gordon, and leaped into a flying kick aimed at the back of Gordon head. As he landed he immediately went into a flying back hook kick. The kick hit Gordon in the back of the head. He brought his hands back up and prepared to further punish his opponent.

the paralyzation will end very quickly...remeber I was almost out of magic
cant argue on uber damage...except that you took a potion not so long ago

Gordon kicked Phoenix of harshly. He grasped his axe and tossed a sword to his opponent. Gordon growled with anger. His enemy had at least run out of magic to throw.

Phoenix caught the sword as it was thrown at him. He cautiously advanced on his enemy. He slashed twice at his enemies chest, then he twirled his blade overhead and swung a powerful blow meant to disarm his opponent.
The Demon, it raged inside him. Always ready to break free, always waiting for him to falter. The demon always waiting on the edge of his soul, ready to overwhelm him. He fought to keep the demon at bay, as he fought his opponent.
