I have come to a decision.. but I feel like it may not be agreed upon. (keep in mind you are always welcome to contest a decision by getting two differen't Admin's to review the fight and if they both vote the other way, then it can be overruled.)
That said here is what I have to say.
At first I wanted to give you a draw. You both did a great job.. you talked alittle about your characters personality, and his background, instead of just fighting. + for both of ya.
Your posts were both a decent size, they started to get alittle smaller for Ogre, but thats not a big deal to me here.. its whats in the posts that matter to me.. not how long they are. + to both of ya
you both had spelling errors here and there, but it looked pretty good actually.
One thing.. and this is a biggie for me as a Judge. You.... can NOT.. take control of your opponents actions. and make them take a hit. me you are an excellent RP'er but you have a bad problem with this rule. You are constantly taking control of your oponent. Not only do you make him take some of your hits sometimes, but you even make him do certain attacks against you. This is definitely frowned upon here. But you both did this. - to both of ya.
Basically it came down to character and battle style. I want all the weapons your character carries into battle listed on their signup sheets. I frown upon "surprises" that make it seem as if you made up the fact that you had extra weapons to save you in a bind. I'm ok with the scattered weapons along the Arena floor, as long as you don't pick up thirty differen't ones, and as long as they are the type of weapons your allowed at your rank. (iron, Steel)
I have a problem with your characters background me... he is a demon or something.. I'm still fuzzy on the whole thing.. But It gives him new powers and fills his magicka when he has none. This is alittle Uber.. If you want this for your character I'd probably be ok with it.. but either add it to your signup (his abilities when he gives in to the demon) or PM me if they are suppose to be secret to the others. If its not too uber I'll allow it.. but like I said... I don't like surprise weapons or abilities.
You didn't use the demon angle this time so It didn't count against you. I also frown upon too many attacks on one turn.. especially when those are Magicka based. Spells take time to cast, and in the game you can't cast more than one spell at a time. I can handle maybe two but three or more is just uber in my opinon, and would drain a character of Magicka fast.
Regarding your alls question about what skill level are your major skills... we'll They are your highest and they would be like expert. Those skills that go with your Main Attributes though... like willpower and intelligence for spells would make thoses skills that fall under your main attributes at the Master level. Those skills that aren't your major skills should hardly be used in the Arena, and are not considered average but are considered your weaknesses. Those that don't have block as a major attribute, should get hit alot more than those that do.
I hope that wasn't too confusing. And to end this long rant... I declare the winner of this (Very close) Match..... Gordon!
